About Oakview Land Use Planning

We are a OLUP, a private consulting firm in Chatham, Ontario, helping clients navigate various municipal land use planning approvals. The business was launched in April 2022, although the Principal Planner, R. Robert Brown, has twenty-two three years of industry municipal development review experience.

Robert is a Registered Professional Planner, a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, and a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners. Over the years, he has worked with a wide variety of municipal and private clients on development reviews and development projects.

Tech-Savvy Services

In recent years, many municipalities have been shifting to an online based application submission process. We are happy to help as our business is primarily web-based, and we are familiar with the process. We are also mobile and undertake on-site reviews and in-person meetings with clients to better understand their needs.

We serve clients across Southwestern Ontario - Essex, Chatham-Kent, Elgin, Middlesex, and Lambton. Our business timings hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM and 5 PM, but we are also available to meet at your convenience upon appointment. And we are also conveniently available to meet with clients outside regular office hours.

Our dream goal for the future is to keep the company lean and mean, streamlined, and ready to shift as our clients’ needs change so that we can continue to provide quality services at a fair rate.

While we are passionate about what we do, we also care about protecting the environment by actively recycling and keeping printing to a minimum.

Additionally, we believe in giving back to the community and society, and as part of that belief, our founder has been a volunteer firefighter for the last 20 years and is a regular blood donor. As the company grows, we also have plans and hope to provide support to local events and groups in the area.
